Truth be told, I did this once back when I was 18. Found out very quickly that the difference in mental development was too large to justify the physical attraction.

Anyway, I think it's ok; don't worry about it. Just try to be responsible in what you do - I'd say it'd be wrong to take advantage of the girl.

yes, it's illegal, most state law is less than 16 or 4 years younger than you. She is both and if yo have sex with her her parents can have you arrested for statutory rape

I was dating a 14 year old at 17, then turned 18...we dated for 4 1/2 years...all the while I was sweatin' that statutory rape shit though.

I think it's weird, and I don't even care that the girl is 14. I just think at that age, the developments from 1 year to the next are huge. When I was 14 I wouldn't date a 12 year old, if I was 16 I wouldn't date a 14 year old. Once you get to around 17/18 the year gaps start to mean less, but I can't say I was ever attracted to someone more than 2 years younger than me when I was in high school.

Of course not everyone is the same, but still I think 14 and 18 is a pretty big stretch.

I dated a 21yr old when I was 16. That usually doesn't work out unless the older one is less mature and thus, on the same level as the younger person.
