Agaricus solidipes?

Both spore pics have 1 μm divisions, I am pretty sure I calibrated it correctly.




Habitat:
Growing in grass on the perimeter of a golf course. Found in Sacramento, California.

Bruising:
None observed.

Spore measurements in μm from a gill fragment (L x W):

avg size = 9.38 × 6.39
avg q = 1.47

Other information:
Smelled good and I thought this was Agaricus campestris till I looked measured the spores.  According to Mushroomexpert, A. solidipes has spores up to 12 μm long and absent cheilocystidia where I didn't find any.

Isn't the horse mushroom Agaricus arvensis? :confused:  I'm not finding much about A. solidipes beyond that short bit at mushroomexpert and that its similar to A. campestris.

I think he meant "field mushroom." I always confuse those two phrases. I kept calling my capestris horse mushroom only to be elucidated by wikipedia.

I found  description for Agaricus solidipes here.  And the only things I have noticed being off so far is the distribution ("Vicinity of Denver.") and the spores are a bit wider then described ("spores ellipsoid, 8-10 x 5-6,μ").  Either way, the spore size looks a lot closer then A. campestris or the other lookalikes I know of like A. andrewii.
