Habitat: Where does it grow? Eg. woods, pasture, state, province, country, altitude, etc. What does it grow on? Eg. soil, dung, wood (dead, living, what kind of wood?), etc. These were growing in one of my liberty cap fields. it is a hay field tho , and not a cow field but i see that he fertilizes with compost as i see lots of egg shells on the ground. Gills: Color, attached/not, gills/pores, etc. free, bright PINK!
Stem: Length, diameter, color, texture, hollow/solid, thin/thick, etc. white, tapering down at the base. viel present
Cap: Diameter, color, texture, conical/spherical, convex/concave, etc. white, fleshy, wispy veil remnants on the cap margin
Spore print color: Very important! in process, 2 available if anyone wants.
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
a slight darkening in the one i cut in half. just slight tho.
*** JUST noticed some slight red staining on the youngest specimens cap after an hour or so now.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom, anything else you think is important, large close-up pictures showing stem, cap and gills.
does not smell of chemicals IMO. just smells mushroomy. i am quite pleased with these showing up in my lib field. there is no libs yet but it gives me a reason to be there early until they do show up.
Please tell me if you agree with my id , Agaricus campestris, the meadow mushroom. my son and i want to have them with steak tonight. but i want some for sure id's, TI's i'd really appreciate some help just to feel safe. we wont eat them until we get some good responses. thanks so much.

If they don't bruise and the flesh doesn't stain any other way than a hint of pinkish then that's them, broham. They are so much more awesome than store buttons.
