Anyone notice anything in this speech?  Obama gave his speech, said we need tax increases.  Then later he says he supports Reid's proposal, which doesn't have tax increases.

I don't care as much about the taxes as I do the cuts in spending. Government is getting too big and it's very inefficient. Always has been. We need a serious plan to cut our spending and get our deficit under control.  I could give a shit about the politics, they all are fuck ups if they let us default.

This would already be settled if Obama wasn't running in 2012.

my broter and I were discussing the essential spending cuts, he gave a
comparison of the national debt/budget issue to a doctard's patient bleeding
to death, he said if you stop only 10% of the bleeding you still lose the
patient

the solution

cap taxes where they are, cut non essential spending, non essential includes
ALL foreign aid, corporate welfare, tax refunds for companies burying their
profits overseas, cut spending on infrastructure for a couple of years, cut
all the pork barrel bullshit and start cutting government jobs including
withdrawal of the military from these foreign lands, consolidating some of
these redundant agencies and dont fucking balance the budget but set a
reasonable one and stick to it

the surplus from the budget would be huge and could certainly go toward the debt
