"But, like all people, I am not qualified, nor do I have the time, to understand all scientific issues. I must rely on others—on the brokers of information: other scientists, medical personnel, the government, regulatory agencies, corporations, nonprofit organizations, and the media, to name a few."

I think that was a cynical remark on Roberts behalf, Are you questioning the credentials and accuracy of a doctor? I know they aren't invincible but they are who we look to for matters such as this is it not?

she's not a doctard, she's a researcher,there's no more than a Dr. in
front of her name on the website yet nothing that can be found relating to
her degree and yes, I should question everything especially when many of
her citations are news articles and loads of first person narritives in a
supposed scientific study

di you suggest we not question authority or should we use the falacy that
we should appeal to authority as you're doing here

BPA accumulates in the human body, over 95 % of humans have it, and the male form has been going downhill since the 50's ...... " Not enough evidence"

one of her many citations makes mentio of BPA levels in urine showing that
it's also flushed, the 'male form' in decline can be from a multitude of
variables, care to show that BPA is the only reason or should we include more
office jobs, less strenuous work and the creation of the video game

I see... so it's just something written to help push HER AGENDA based on shit
she;s read on the net and in news papers, uploaded to a 'peer reviewed'
journal in order to show some 'credibility'

you're obviously playing devils advocate for the sake of argument but the fact is my argument is backed by credible peer reviewed evidence

Could you point out the ones that you have read specifically so that we dont have to wade through a barrage of links.  You didnt read every one that she cites did you?

I hope you actually read them instead of just reading her article and seeing the links...

And what do you suppose those imply?  The first one and the fourth one are meaningless.

After reading the abstracts of the other three, I dont quite see that as the smoking gun conclusive evidence you make them out to be.  Only the Schönfelder paper looks to me to somewhat support what you are saying, and it is a very narrow and specific paper.

Could you elaborate on them a bit, what is the one that studied rats implying about humans?  And then the other one is serum levels and androgen concentrations.  How does this inform me with respect to being a consumer?

I have to say, I would be a lot more receptive to this is it was cast with such a sensational title and so many bold, over arching claims.

It does suck that our government approves of so many harmful things. The fact that our government cuts funding to areas that conduct research on things like this makes me feel a little :tinfoil: , especially when they won't even acknowledge the fact that there is concern and that there is a lot of information that leads one to suspect there should be concern.

Our government does very little to help and a whole hell of a lot to hurt, is all I need to really say. Whether they knowingly do it, are bought-out by people that do knowingly do it, or are just plain stupid, I don't personally know. But society as a whole, specifically in the United States seems like a scam when there are a ton of cases like this about a whole shit-load of different things and very little is being done about it when there are a ton of healthier alternatives.

It is especially seen with the case of medical marijuana and oil vs. green technologies. It just makes very little sense unless you factor-in the government being a security net for all the industries surrounding these products, which they have proven to be with the auto making industry, not to mention they back big corporations like McDonald's (very unhealthy) and blockbuster (should have been out of business long ago). Our government has proven to not be for the people unless you count the fact that they provide job security... the biggest scam of the century.

Dr :ronpaul: says to stop trying to treat the side-effects of big government and focus on the core issues. End the Federal Reserve/audit the gold reserves at Fort Knox, abolish the IRS, end all wars and occupancies, stop the building of an empire that will inevitably fail, and cut all unconstitutional federal programs. Put the power back in the peoples' hands by ending this nanny-state.
