Psilocybe Cubensis
    #1481971 - 04/22/03 11:49 AM (13 years, 7 months ago)

Hello all,

Some months ago I had a few experiences w/ P. Cubensis (studing, hunting, preparing, tripping). I live in Brazil, and the P.Cubensis specime is common here in cow shit in rainy times.

Last weekend I found some mushrooms very very very similar with last ones, but not in cow shits it was found in a horse's shit ... I take some photos (no digital cam), I?ll scan and post it here later...

The question is: anyone knows if P.Cubensis can grown in horse pastures ???

Thanks!

It's not very common, but yes, it's possible.

yes of Course they can- its just the odds are against it- if your looking for mush mainly in horse habitats- you'll most likely come into contact with Pan- Subbs in the hot summer months- like around horse stables and such around rotted hay, etc..

Greetings to all

I must star to say that blenblen is a friend of mine and the filds that he look this mush is located in the left side of my house so I think its important to say that are only ONE horse in this place and the mushes grows almost everyday since january. Note that we are in Brazil and the season changed from summer ( when it's more easy to find mush in the cows filds ) to autumn when the huntings becomes more difficult.

We had some experiences last year and always with the p.cubensis that grows in the cows filds... I was supposed to place the pics here I guess I will post then tomorrow so we can share more information and finish this doubts, we don't consumed the mushes yet but my brother and cousin ( a cople of idiots ) did so and releted to us that the trip is the same of the p.cubensis that grow's in the cow's pastures!!

So here's my doubt anyone have experience the horse's mush besides my brother and cousin???

give thanks all
greeting my brother blen
one love

The experience will probably be the same no matter what it grows in. People grow them on vermiculite and flour and it's still the same.

But on the other hand, there was some pretty fierce debating going on about if different strains cause different trips (the more experienced users seem sure that they actually do), so maybe there is a difference in cow shit mushrooms and horse shit mushrooms (or flour and vermiculite mushrooms)

here's the link to that thread if anyone's interested:-  rIght here!

Give thanks oO_wombat_Oo

I just want to know if the mush that grow's in the fild I mentioned is dangerous we are pretty sure that it is a P.Cubensis

I think that we should experiment this mush until the final of this week and post the relative effects here so we can share more information and discuss if diferent species of animals could interfere in the process I mean if the animal generates some kind of difference in the P.cubensis

greetings to all
