The only bad thing I herd about datura is it's hard on lungs and I read a trip report and a guy said he couldn't eat or swallow anything and yes gas is terrible

Uhhh you need to do some more reading then. How about the fact that it can easy kill you? Or the fact that a lot of people end up naked, covered in cuts and scratches, and have no idea where they are (or are in jail) by the time it wears off. You couldn't pay me enough to do datura.
