Does verizon email parents the text messages?

Im in college but im still on our family plan :rolleyes:. So I was texting someone about bud and i just got really paranoid thinking about what if my parents are able to view the texts online or something.

I went to the verizon faq and it said that you can view texts online at the text message website. I went there but I couldnt even find them, so im pretty sure my parents wouldnt care enough to nosy around and call verizon or whatever (they dont suspect i do anything illegal as far as i know).

I know they could probably get the texts if they called verizon and asked to send it to them, but im just wondering if there is an option to send a full text report to them with the bill or something?

No. You can view the dates/times but not the actual text in the message.

Like mentioned above. the company can only tell you the time of the message, the phone number it went to and the price it cost you.

Writing the text message on the bill would mean the company has records of all the text messages their users makes which would be an extremely serious security breach the would result in a huge class action law suit.

Privacy... dont fuck with it.

Not true.  Text messages are kept for up to like 6 months or something by some companies so police can subpeona them.

Of course the cops could get a hold of text messages if needed. Hes talking about his parents though. In that case they can not.
