Super-Human Tripping Powers?

What do you guys think about the possibility of the tripping state of mind (I mean actually tripping, not the after-effects) enabling you to do incredible things?

I know one of the first times I tripped I picked up Street Fighter 2 whatever edition on Super Nintendo and ruined the best player in my fraternity house. I probably hadn't played the game in two years. I felt like I was so focused that I knew what the possible outcomes were from each frame of animation and I could watch for the first indication of which outcome it would be. I basically knew exactly what was going to happen so I was able to beat him.

My friend told me a story about how during one of the only times he's done acid, he was able to juggle a soccer ball WAY better than ever before. He said he would never be able to juggle that well not tripping.

There's also that story of the pitcher in the major leagues who threw a no-hitter while on LSD.

There was another time in Kauai when I ate a very small amount of mushrooms I picked there and then went on a run with my brother. Every other morning my brother would be able to run much farther than me without getting tired as he is/was in much better shape than me. But that morning I ran and ran and ran and he got more tired and more tired and when we stopped I felt like I hadn't even been running! It was incredible! Then when it came time to run back I just couldn't get myself to run again. I just felt like my body wasn't into it, and I couldn't run at all.

What do you guys think about all this? Any similar stories?

EDIT: With Street Fighter 2, I played him again the next day (not tripping), and he kicked my ass.

I can dance like the guy in this video on shrooms. Not as good obviously, but my body just wants to move like that on shrooms. I can't do it when i'm not tripping.

it always seems like i run faster and can read peoples minds..but thats just cuz im trippin
But one time i closed my eyes and i saw like a home video of this family playing with their baby in their back yard..it was really weird
I never even seen them before

99.99% of the no-hitters pitched were done by players NOT on acid. Note that the aforementioned pithcer did NOT acquier any new skills, but was already quite accomplished.

Try tripping while running the Boston Marathon for a real-world test of your newfound prowess.

Swami- So in other words you do not believe that tripping could give you the ability to pitch better or run farther? How do you feel when tripping? Intoxicated?

I love practicing martial arts while on shrooms, that is if I am not walking around the forest.. While tripping I have been in some bad places where I needed to defend myself, I have alway's noticed that I can tell what the attacker is going to do before he even does it. Kind of like a esp thing but I don't see it in my mind, rather I all of the sudden know what defence to put up followed by a good disabeling move to get myself out of there as fast as possible. While walking in the woods I feel extreemly connected, to the point where the wildlife and I feel like we can communicate. I also trip by myself more often than with others and when I am with others I don't have this ablility as much, rather I can understand communication between the other trippers at a deeper level.

I could so NOT defend myself tripping. Heh, I cant handle any conversation at all. Trying to leave a Rave one night, a police cruiser had me parked in...All I could do was roll down my window like, 2 inches and say "Ma'am, can you please move your cop car?". Tripping makes me so unable to communicate myself....

Madtowntripper- That's interesting. There seems to be two MAIN kinds of mindsets you can get into while tripping. There's the kind you describe and there's another kind. I think when I first started tripping I probably had an experience more similar to your's. I KNOW when I first started smoking weed I had that exact type of experience every time. It took a LONG time for that to stop, but it has. Still, when I smoke weed now I don't feel clear-headed at all.

When I trip though, I feel much more in tune with myself and able to communicate and perceive much better. Last weekend I started tripping in a crowded restaurant and I felt like I was the most powerful person there. I felt like I was on another level (which I was), but I felt like it was a "superior" level. Not superior in an "I'm better than you" way, but superior in a "I am more powerful than you" way. Tripping seems to put me in a mind state that really allows me to tap into my potential. I'm sure others have similar experiences.
