i cant wait! going up north to minnesota for a couple weeks, then moving out to cali.

I live in Florida, and don't know what is so great about Minnesota. and honestly have been to only San Francisco in Cali, but can say it's not stupendous. you are going to leave Florida but then are going to be disappointed that the beaches in cali have cold water and are usually patrolled by great white sharks. why do you hate Florida? where do you live? I mean the only thing that sucks about Florida, is if you are in South Florida, it's like living in Cuba, if you are more up north, it's like living in whitey white land. but w/e :shrug:

ive lived in cali before. in long beach, and thats where im going back to. florida sucks. ive lived here 4 years and hate it. i've lived in the south all my life pretty much and am tired of it. i hate the humidity, the large quanity of african americans. (especially southern blacks) plus florida has more sharks than cali. sharks are exothermic, so they prefer warmer waters. i currently live in central florida. in zepyrhills to be exact, and its shitty.

there's not job market here in florida, and plus theres that whole PRR thing over my head for the next three years while im in this state.

and im just visiting a good friend in minnesota. and im just excited for a scene change. and to finally get out of this hell hole of a town and state. not all of florida sucks, but cali is way better.

I don't know how sf gave dude a not so positive image of Cali. But that's only one of our many regions. I went from playing in the snow to playing in the sand within two weekdays. You can go all over, we have access to Mexico in minutes an easy drive north to Oregon. Tons of coast line it's awesome. I don't know about florida but my time on the east coast was ruined by humidity and just a whole different environment and people.
Here is home to me but to each their own.

i lived in florida about half my life and now live in the bay area, trust me its awesome out here but be prepared for a huuuuuggggggeeeee cost of living increase.:awedrugs:

if you had said a bit more then half your life, I'd have thought you were my friend danny, who lives in south florida most of his life, then moved to the bay area.

well maybe the rest of florida sucks, but to be honest I'd say anything in cali sucks as much as Miami, it's crowded, expensive to live, full of crime. what's the difference? the clubs? whatever, if it's worth it for that. traffic might be a little better, but that's because there is a river of people on the sidewalks, and the buses are so crowded you usually have to stand. but in Miami I get at least to enjoy and experience the cultural differentiation. and Orlando, Fl I really like, it may be small and boring, but people are super friendly.

you talk like you're inundated with African Americans..  How is that? When back in 2000 a census was taken, and of 10,833 residents in Zhills, 92.63% were white, 2.79% were black.  I doubt a lot has changed since then.

the only benefit I could see to living in florida would be picking cubensis...but you can easily grow those at home so there is no need to be in florida
