trich or russula maybe?

Found this alongside the roots of a pine tree. There were several other smaller ones just starting to pop up. Spore print is white. Stipe is somewhat tapered at the base (I know you can't tell from the pic, sorry).

Caps seemed to have several colors orange, green and reddish hues. Any ideas?

Probably Russula variata.
