The defense lawyer shredded the prosecutions case with his final.  The evidence and experts that the prosecution called were poorly prepared for the trial, and the reason is, there was really no correlations between most of the evidence shown.  Random this, random that, and the defense raises the alternatives to every situation, and the prosecution can't answer.  Poorly prepared case because it hinged on really weak evidence.

What the fuck are you talking about? A SINGLE PIECE of Circumstantial evidence is not enough to convict.

Compounded circumstantial evidence IS enough to convict and people are routinely convicted on circumstantial evidence when presented in enough volume.

The amount of evidence the prosecution presented that was circumstantial was enough to convict several times over in my opinion after studying for only 4 years of law. This was not enough because prosecution didn't take care of loose ends, so the circumstantial evidence loses much of it's validity and power.  (I am not an expert by any means, but I am confident enough in my opinion to call her guilty if I was on the jury),.

Scott Peterson in California who killed preg wife was all circumstantial evidence. Now he is on death row. Thi
