It's been more than 72 hours.

Is there any news on the UN meeting about the war on drugs other than the same quotes saying that the drug war is a failure and the opposition saying that it would be harder to keep people safe and healthy? I can't find any updates on this. Is it still going on right now? Is there any more media coverage? Did the US fuck everything up again?
I'm so lost.

I dunno. But to be honest, the current outbreak of a particularly violent strain of e. coli here in Europe is much more relevant to me at the moment. Some 1200 people hospitalized in Germany at the moment, nearly half of them being diagnosed with a set of particularly severe and potentially lethal symptoms referred to as HUS (Hemolytic-uremic syndrome). Based on mortality rates at this point, I'd say that at least 50 of them will die. And the outbreak has only been going on for less than a week.

I imagine Alex Jones will be telling us it's a genetically engineered superstrain very shortly.

How come I didn't think of that? Scientists are still searching for the strain's origins, so there's ample room for a nice conspiracy theory :thumbup:

i dont think anything will come of this OP

the dea funds itself with stealing peoples drugs and money.. which goes back to the streets making high up positions more rich

if anything theyll start building more prisons bc unemployment is so high

an e-coli outbreak and 50 dead people is an epidemic? 
They were probably old/super young people with weakened immune systems that were going to die from cancer/whatever disease anyway!

At this point, especially young women seem to be susceptible. Let's see if it turns out into a veritable outbreak. If the Germans are as good at spreading this e.coli as they have shown to be at spreading panic over the past few days, all hell's likely to going to break loose.
