Dilated Pupils

im gonna be shrooming in about 2 weeks, and i havent shroomed in a year. so the plan is me and my buddy, who hasnt shroomed yet, are gonna go to the beach and just chill out and enjoy life. Were gonna get to the beach around 12-1, so i guess the shrooms should wear off around 5??? so last time i did them i took them at around 7 and after they wore off, and it was 11 i looked in the mirror and i remember my pupils were extremely dilated. so as i said theyll probably kick in around 1-2 if we take them 12-1, and what i was wondering was if were still gonna have dilated pupils later at night around 11, even tho we'll be sober.

also if any one has any tips and ideas for what we should do on the beach, were gonna take two beach chairs some drinks and alot of sunblock and just relax, walk around, and swim for a bit. I read a post here on shroomery about a guys experience on the beach and he said it was amazing. i just hope we dont giggle too much and attract attention :grin:

Your pupils will most likely be pretty normal at around 11. You will probably attract attention. You never know how a trip could go. You could start having a bad trip and that might attract attention. Swimming is not a good idea. Basically there isn't much to do except trip out and enjoy your surroundings. Still, I would sketch out if I was in a public place like a beach on shrooms..

Don't listen to him.  You have every right to be under the influence at the beach.  You won't attract attention, no one is gonna think you are behaving weird for having fun at the beach all day.  Swimming is an incredible idea and should be at the top of your list.  Your trip will not go bad if all necessairy precautions are taken.  Have fun and don't worry about it to much.  If you get freaked out about people, thinking they're all interested in the fact that your tripping and all of them are calling the police and what not just lay on the grass or sand and watch the clouds and forget the world.  That's when it will be best, trust me.

I'm not saying he has no right to be under the influence on a beach (even though technically he doesn't because it's considered public intoxication). I'm just telling him to be prepared to not act normally while on shrooms resulting in unwanted attention. Shrooms are a psychadelic after all. Giving the advice of swimming on mushrooms is perhaps one of the worst pieces of advice I have ever heard. It's incredibly dangerous and stupid. You're putting your life at risk by doing that. You might not even realize that you are drowning and a moment later you are dead.

I doubt he's gonna be taking enough shrooms to the point were he so disoriented he can't swim.  Telling someone not to take a nice shallow leisure swim on a psychedelic is the most iresponisble thing I have ever heard.

Sounds like fun to me, try to find an isolated spot, bring some fruit and if you start getting nervous around people, lay down and meditate and it'll look like you're sun bathing.  After the peak I bet all you'll want to do is hang out with people anyways haha :wink:

Thanks guys, and ya me and my friend are gonna take an eighth each. And were gonna be shrooming on a really popular beach here in chicago but its gonna be at like 12-1 on a weekday so I doubt a lot of people will be there. Also last time I took an eighth and I did not hallucinate, my vision was funny but I didn't see anything, and dude thanks for being positive and telling me I'm gonna drown and die, hahahah but thanks for looking out

Idk dude, from my knowledge, two grams of quality mushrooms is plenty.  Just make sure the day has some great vibes accompanied with it, and you should be just fine :smile:
