(mushrooms are) an ally in the evolution of man, not to be profaned by the dirtyness of money..
Isn't money an ally in the evolution of man? I don't see how mushrooms are any more so.
My problem with stuff like this is that
A) Mushroom's evolutionary relationship with mankind is speculation with a cave painting from the Tsasilli plateau in Africa as the only evidence. That and some vague connections among the bicameral brain, schizophrenia, and shrines in ancient cities which could be interpreted any way you want.
B)People who consider mushrooms to be sacred and holy sacraments tend to think that they know what mushrooms are meant for. I find that concept ridiculous. They think that if you take mushrooms to fuck with your brain you aren't doing it "right." I've heard this a lot. People say stuff like "If you don't respect the mushrooms and take them with spiritual intentions then you are missing out."
Well, what about eating an eighth and going to the mall to eat fast food and play video games at the arcade? Have you meditating mushroom eaters ever tried that? And I don't mean just once, but have you tried to turn that into some kind of crude religious practice? No? Well, I'm afraid that's fine and all, but you are missing out on the true message of the mushroom.
My point is there is no "true" way to eat mushrooms, and nobody can say that their experiences tapping into the collective unconsciousness and recieving life-affirming messages from beyond are any better than someone reverantly unwrapping their burrito and marvelling at the skill required to wrap it up in the first place.

well said!
i think part of the beauty of the mushroom experience is that no matter what you do (provided it promotes a positive atmosphere) it provides good, clean, fun.
shrooms have brought me pain and joy, and even inner peace (or whatever). I think its great that shrooms can provide such a wide spectrum of experiences.
however (comma)
i think that a spiritual aspect dominates the trip regardless of what you do, some of us are just more sensitive and appreciative of that, and some are not, and thats totally OK.
you'll get yours, watch out....

I have a question for all of you though, If you deal, good prices for a 'good commodity' (THAT IS how exchange works.) Not to say you dont give them away for free or as tips, but to a degree you do sell because it is a wanted item--and u are selling the best you can produce, to people who generally get there money from heritage who do no work (besides the point).
But, if u are using that money to generate 'a general evolution of your life and those around you', then is that such a 'heinious act'.... similarily put,
If a friend of mine deals, then buys posters of art he likes and buys books (for school and personal interest/development), and, inturn, the knowledge he gains he uses in educating conversation with co-earthlings/the people who hang out with him get to see his art he painstakingly lights well in his small apartment flat--is this dealing or 'an ally of evolving man' as he uses the money in a recipocating relationship with
1) the drug itself / within himself 2) those around him
To the point that most of the money he generates is going more or less back to the people in his life.
I mean, to this degree, is dealing such a negative thing: Espicially if this person does go out of there way to be as charitable as possible, but needs some cash so he doesn't have to slave himself off and thereby bypass alienating himself from the deepest creative essence within us all?

everyone has to remember.. mushrooms are labaled a "DRUG" because its a controlled substance and if its labeled a drug then people are gonna put prices on it.. no matter how hard it is to understand, its gonna happen no matter what.
