Wildcard got me started on this tonight and I can't stop playing with mods for the desktop.. XP is just so damn cool and all the neat mods available are so sweet :laugh:

you guys have all sorts of cool stuff for your computer. mines just kind of plain and boring, but i do like my wallpaper...so i'll just post that.

Where could i get a little clock and calender like that thor?

Well start with looking at these sites for all kinds of mods:

The coolest Mod is the Winamp mod called MMD3 Winamp Skin , this is by far the coolest skin for winamp3 I've ever seen.

Then there are things like the calendar that I have on the desktop, which there are like 20 skins available for: Rainlendar.

thr, i had winamp 3 before, but i got rid of it because it disabled some of the keys on my key board, so i went back to winamp 2, i had that skin too when i had wa3, i think it is the best one, there are so many variations to it

I'm running a program called Style XP that manages my themes, and is a must for anyone wanting to mess with their look. Its only a 30 day trial, but you can I'm sure get a crack.

For my desktop I have Rainlendar, Weather Watcher, the winamp3 skin I mentioned before, and then I also have the Sysmetrix which has tons of skins for it.

I'd avoid the boot screen or log in mods as I've read on the bulletin boards that there have been some big problems with them.. But I'm sure they are pretty safe, I just don't see a need to mess with a load up screen when you only see it briefly.
