Morels, morels morels
    #14342338 -

They are everywhere here in the mid-west.
As a kid I would have gone easter egg hunting today but being from a poor white trash family; there were never any to be found.
We would actually get excited if we found a pile of dog shit and we would put some MnM's on it and pretend that our parents loved us enough to buy it for us. :omgz:
But since i've grown up and lost my teeth I've learned that no one loves me and I hunt morels instead.
15.7 pounds of whites, greys and yellows yesterday and today looks like a perfect replica of yesterday.
Full of sorrow and a shit ton of mushrooms.
Happy Easter kids.

How do you know where to go looking for Morels?

I don't have a spot but would like to find one.  How do I do that?

I've gotta run but look in the woods.
dying elm trees: ash trees; micro climates and a hunt.
It's like fishing: they don't call it catching.
Tons of info on this site and the interwebz.
Get out an crawl trough the muck
Pics later.

i wish i could see morels everywhere!! im in a concrete jungle. with all this rain, there is the potential for beautiful fruits.
here i just think its still to cold out. we have been taking more walks, and going to parks. if your lucky in the city, sometimes
you will see some fruits in woodchipped areas, or in basins at the base of trees. nobody notices mushrooms so sometimes they are
lucky enough to go un-disturbed. but its still been a little to cold out for fruiting
