Stupid landlord, end of grow 1

I live in an apartment, and my mushroom grow is locked in a closet, the door always locked.
Long story short I gave my two months notice to move out, and because of how the tenants and landlords act works, the landlord can show off my place any time between 8AM and 8PM.
However the closet was always locked, and when the landlord came by I always just said my girl had the key and she wasn't home.
So I was tripping on the weekend, a few tabs of acid. It was an AMAZING day and I was taking a long walk and happened to walk past the landlord and his family. He says out of the blue "So when are you going to share whats in your closet"? I am like umm wtf? Tripping balls and not sure what to expect. He then is like "Oh you got to share bro, you got to share. I'll come by sometime".
Now there is no way in hell he could know exactly what was inside since it was always locked, but maybe he suspects. Probably thinks I was growing weed. I went back and while tripping removed everything, got rid of all evidence, and stored the dried product at another location. Put random shit inside my closet, only issue is a little water damage at the top.
Hope nothing comes of it, eg. he gets pissed off when he comes up and sees nothing / I have nothing to share and like a jackass calls the cops. The only stuff I have in my place is K and L but I guess I should clean that out too.
Really
Only till the end of April thank god. Then I am gone.

Yeah. The only thing I am worried about now is a fucking raid. I don't have any grow stuff on me except empty bins etc but I have alot of chemicals, syringes etc. (Chemicals for certain reactions, all not illegal but I am wondering if they could get me for attempted manufacturing? - Stuff like GBL (legal, but watched), lye, acetone, HCL acid, naptha, xylene, toluene, vermiculite, etc).
This is so stupid. I think I am being kind of paranoid but fuck I value my freedom.

Whatever the cost of what you have left that could bite you is way less than the price of your freedom. You may indeed be a little paranoid and sometimes things while tripping don't mimic reality, who knows? But if you sleep better at night knowing the things aren't there then that's what's up. It's simple really. sleeping peacefully is way under rated.

I would definitely clear out all suspicious things from your apartment if you are worried about it. If you have any friends that do drugs, ask them if you can stash some stuff at their place for a little bit.
If not, take everything in your stash, put it in one of your tubs and bury it in some remote location. You can dig it up later and bring it to your new place.

The next day I was out walking to the store and I saw him when coming back into the apartment, he was like "So when can I come by". So I don't think it was just because I was tripping.

You did the right thing
Maybe cover it up by saying you and your girl have a crazy fetish of some kind and you keep your sex toys in there? Ha! THEN see if he wants to take a look (alone) with you....
No, but really, the mushrooms did you well in your revelation.

If you are truly worried about a raid, then you should move/properly dispose of the chemicals if you are in most of North America. Actually in some jurisdictions just having the acetone, HCL, and NaOH together can be a crime. GBL is absolutely something that I would not want to have around especially near NaOH.

I guess your landlord is an asshole stoner.
Clean house but I doubt there will be a raid.
You are going to need some porn for your closet.

I always share at least weed with my landlords. It allows me to build a relationship with them and everything runs a lot smoother during the time I'm renting from them.

Generally I like to keep my drug use private but this sounds about right.

Well it was obvious to me that my last few landlords party so it was easy, if they were sketchy or squares then I wouldn't do it. Actually I probably wouldn't rent from them at all if that were the case. I'm very particular with who I rent from.

As a landlord I can tell you, you're wrong.
I can inspect every nook, cranny and closet of an apartment. What I can't do is look in stuff (like furniture) that you personally own. I can't open your dresser drawers. I can't look inside any free standing cabinets that belong to you. I can't open your toolbox or cardboard boxes.
I can open built ins, such as kitchen or bathroom cabinets. I can look in your refrigerator (assuming I own it). I can go into the basement or attic. And yes, I can look into any closet I wish to.
Here's some advice from a generic landlords perspective. Do not be surprised, if after I notice a new lock has been added to a door, that you have peaked my curiosity. Don't hang drug posters or pictures around your rental unit. Don't leave your bong or bowl out where I can see it if the tenant in an adjacent apartment reports a water or gas leak. A landlord (or a landlords representative) can enter your apartment at any time, night or day, if a serious problem has been reported. Don't leave mirrors and razor blades out in sight. If I have given the required 24 hours notice, I will enter your apartment. I will remove any lock I find that limits my access to a room or closet. Always keep your shit and paraphernalia out of sight.
Your apartment, is not "yours". It is mine.
Now... as I like to consume illegal substances, I don't give a crap whether you party or not. I never enter an apartment without the proper notice, unless an emergency situation arises. I personally don't care about small pot or shroom grows (just don't overload my circuits). Don't even think about dealing from my building though. I am a business man. I don't need the cops pegging my building as a problem building.
Where you fucked up was: 1. Believing your closet is "safe". 2. Giving notice before removing anything that could cause you trouble.
-------------------- You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. From what I understood, you can change the locks INSIDE the unit, eg. bathroom etc. Just not outside. There was never a lock on the closet. I added it. I am allowed in the lease to make any alterations AS LONG AS they are put back to normal at the end. This means I can paint, etc. As long as I fix it in the end. But I cannot tear up the floor because that is not recoverable.

You should have cleaned out your grow once you made the decision to give notice.
Many people don't know that in most jurisdictions the fire and building codes prohibit keyed locks on interior doors for any habitable dwelling. Putting a lock on any room or closet door is going to be suspicious, unsafe and probably illegal. Not that I haven't done it and not that people won't keep doing it. Even if your lease or rental agreement allows alterations, those alterations must comply with code.
