Lost in Strawberry Fields - Sleep Deprivation.

One of my really good friends likes to go days without sleeping.
He was telling me about a time he tripped for +12 hours off some really good L he gets in vials.
He stayed up another day after the trip to induce sleep deprivation effects- hallucinations,
THEN he decided to go hike up a mountain.:crazy2:
He says it was an absolutely INSANE experience, and it definitely caught my interest.

I've never really stayed up to the point where i start tripping out over things; sleeping is one of my favorite things to do.:shrug:

I'd like to hear the Pub's experiences with sleep deprivation.

when i was younger and into the speedier side of narcotics id go days without sleep regularly.. at one point it was standard procedure to sleep maybe 5-8 hours total from monday to saturday then crash out all day sunday...

sleep deprivation alone is some of the strangest tripping ive done... not to mention when u add other droogs to the mix

I just can't stand feeling that fuzzy-headed. Thoughts all muddled... paranoid delusions..

i guess it's kind of like a mild DPH trip.

One time I didn't sleep for like 2 days, and then towards the end of the 3rd day I took some percocet.

Shit was so cash.

Hmm, i've never taken straight DPH or Benadryl, but i used to be sort of addicted to Tylenol PMs ...ok i was addicted, i tried smoking the damn things. twice.:facepalm:
Obviously i liked the effects, but you're saying you get stronger effects off DPH then?

DPH has weird and subtle effects in normal doses, but to get to the real terrifying meat of dph you have to do a few hundred milligrams. Most people on the /del/ board of 420chan claim that 700 mg is the magic spot.

I haven't done it, I really don't want to swallow that many benadryl pills, and the trip sounds purely unpleasant.

but yea, if you want to experience some serious delirium with out taking datura, munch like 500mg's of DPH


it's definitely not for everyone

I can't remember to well, but one day at school i felt like my brain was melting and i think it was the day after i crushed up a pill and smoked it.

Never done DPH or Datura, but I'd describe it like that IME.

I saw a bunch of moths flying around my head. There was really only one.
Fucking freaked me out. I hate fucking moths.

I view sleep deprivation the same way as inhalants... Seems like a stupid method of getting high to me. DPH is also quite scary stuff, it's a bit safer than datura just because it's heavily sedative and you won't really be moving around much, but true hallucinations are some of the most intense mind fuck you can experience.

usually on the 3rd nite of not sleeping i randomly fall in and out of consciousness even mid conversation and stop making sense. my eyes will be closed and i will still be talking but i will be semi asleep. i can still see the room and the people around me thru my closed eyelids in the semi-dream state but sound becomes very distorted, like dubstep, being under water, or doing a line of special K. when im awoken from this state i get really freaked out because its almost hard to tell the difference between dreams and reality at that point. like comming back from a seizure, not knowing what the hell is happening. i believe disoriented may be the word im looking for

sleep deprivation is used as a torture technique for a reason

this reminds me of my friend who thought cigarettes got him high because the "lack of oxygen" to the brain when smoking, his words.
