Can someone explain to me what these 'fractals' are?

Are they just trippy pictures or is there like some significance ie. are they amazing on shrooms.

I've been hearing a lot about these and I would just like to know.

They are infinite patterns.

draw a triangle on a piece of paper.
draw triangles on all 3 sides of that triangle, making a bigger triangle.
Do it again, and again and again... this is a simple fractal. it's basically a geometrical phenomenon.
there's certain special ones, like mandelbrot's and julia sets, and mandala's and what not... i'm sure other people have tons of info on them.

Fractals are built from mathmatical equations- Trippy, but essentially from this reality.

fractals are the basic building blocks of a good trip.  luckily fractals are in nearly EVERYTHING, so if you look hard enough youll always have a good trip :smile:
