I love spain.  I been to Barcelona and Palma De Majorca.  I REALLY like Barcelona.  I got some fabulously good hash there for really cheap, and watched as about 1,000 people ran past me in a pedestrian tunnel, running and screaming and carrying signs, I don't think they were really fucking happy with the government.  :tongue2:

starfire_xes, BCN and Mallorca are great.  What date was the incident with the 1000 people, just to think what could have happened.

MisterMuscaria, there is great mushroom hunting in all the north of Spain. In the northe east (cataluña) is where there is more culture of shroom hunting and eating. My father´s family is from there and always toke me when i was little.

I've heard Spain is awesome. I would really love to go there some day. Is it true that the government is quite lenient about pot and psychedelics in general? That's what I've heard.

That was late 70's.  I have been there twice, late 70's and 1986.

nice1, there are lots of active mushrooms that grow in Spain, for example

Panaeolus cyanenscens
Psilocybe cyanescens
Psilocybe semilanceata (we call then "monguis")
Los Stropharia cubensis (wo call then "San Isidros")
Psilocybe strictipes
Psilocibe Hispanica
Pluteus salicinus

They for sure grow in autumn. I´ve never picked up in spring but i would think there are also in that time.  The north of Spain is the most humid part so there are easier to find but there are active mushrooms in more south also.

Nicechrisman, posesion of drugs for personal use is not illegal but you can be fined with between 300€ and 6000€ depending in the quantity. The funny think is that it´s legal to have it or grow it but you cannot have it on you in the street, if they search you and find something you will pay. However, if you have common sense you will not have problems.  It´s better in the big cities than in small towns. For policeman in small towns catching you with something is the achievement of the month.

starfire_xes first time you came, i wasn´t still born.  You came just in the transition from Franco´s dictaitorship so its not strange you saw people on fire
