Mazatapec & B+

Just started today. Let's see how this goes.

I figured I would use a MycoBag from TMS for my first since it sounds like the easiest.

Edit: Got another bag, throwing B+ in this one.

If I were to do it all over and go 20 years back in time.

I'd figure out where it is currently legal to grow...  British West Indies perhaps...  Then decide it isn't worth it to move there, but move somewhere else.

I'd get my own place, get a great job, I'd buy a huuge PC, get a ton and a half of dry hpoo for free, get a 100 bales of straw, make an LC, find an awesome fruitbody clone from making PF bags, PF jars, and monotubs.  Then spawn out a 50x20' bed of poo and straw since it is super cheap and cover it with painters cloth after figuring out a way to heat or insulate the floor and control the humidity and temperature of the room.

Grow a bit :wink:, go to festivals.

Do some shroom extractions with everclear.

But that is my pipe dream.

I'd never do something crazy like that!  Seriously I wouldn't.

good luck. i found it to be a very pretty strain, very rhizomorphic and strandy, quick colonizer and eats the substrates ive given it pretty tenaciously.

Grains 3 weeks, tub 4 weeks, i had a very small amount of spawn so it took forever to fully colonize.  I played around with GE as well so I could have choked it a bit.  It's only been fruiting for a couple days but i can see a couple pins popping already.

Got sign of mycelium growth for the Maz grow, maybe about 5-10% so far. A week and two days, is that good speed?

no, that is not optimal speed for colonization. a quart jar of rye (with a profilific growth rate) can be done in 14 days, sometimes less, sometimes more. 100% complete and ready to shake and inoculate. after the inoculation (using a 25-50% spawn ratio, i can get a bag of poo colonized in 3-5 days, depending on strain.

It's at room temperature, and it technically has only been colonizing for 4ish days considering I had to re-inject spores because the heat I originally had them to start with was far to high and more than likely killed the original spores.
