I work as a barista for peets coffee

People often ask what to get.

For first timers I almost always recommend getting a medium(grande) Black and White mocha latte. It is a mixture of the two, and it comes with 2 shots of espresso already.  its extremely tastey and gets you going

I personally call it the Ref(because I am a guy)

The starbucks here calls it a zebra.

I personally despise the caramel macchiato, i hate caramel lattes. frappachinos are alright with it.

I couldn't be a barista because the first time someone asked me something even quasi-pretentious I would calmly tell them, "it's just fucking coffee."

its actually pretty fun. I love what I do, and I brighten peoples day. Plus I get free food, and drinks each shift. Tips are pretty decent as well.

Except this one dude who keeps coming in everyday but I still manage to make his Hot Chocolate wrong (even though I know how to make a fucking hot chocolate. We talk shit on him each time. Too funny. Hes one of those types where its never going to be right, and he just has to complain.

I work at a coffee shop that has one of those people too. Medium cappuccino, whole milk, 4 shots and an undefinable milk to foam ratio. When you first get him you start to think "Ok I got this," and then he will ask for more milk or say it's too much and get grumpy or whatever. He likes approximately 4 tablespoons of milk and the rest foam, but you'll never get it right.

At starbucks my favorite is a chai tea latte or a vanilla latte usually with extra espresso. Either one will make my day :sun:

Any tea in a bag is going to be at best OK. You need loose leaf if you want anything that's going to impress you.
