Yup, didn't know anyone else heard of it. Where'd you find out? I started looking into mushrooms and their lookalikes on wikipedia, then started looking up all the different mushroom toxins, and it just kept going from there.

I herd about this on the discovery channel. They were doing a series on ocean creatures and this particular snail was one of them. Yea they were saying that this stuff made morphine look like tylenol compared to the chemical taken from these snails. cool stuff...I would like to try it once to see the effects of it.

I am curious, during your research did you find. or did it mention there being a lethal dose? Or is it like Marijuana... take as much as you like... it will just put you to sleep? Also... Addictive or non addictive?

Yeah, I don't know if it has any other neurotoxic effects besides being a calcium channel blocker. It's not addictive because it's not even active at a receptor, so if blocking calcium channels is all it does to you, it could mean a major change in painkilling techniques.

I don't think it will get you high. It's probably just like really, really good ibuprofen.

This would possibly turn medical pain killing techniques on there head... this is actually BAD to to all the pill poppers out there is there are no neurotoxic effects... no high... no fun in going to to doctor anymore

Dude I can GAURENTEE the big Pharmaceutical companies are all over that... and other plants animals and fungi ans what have you... thats there life source... new break though meds = BIG $$$

It just depends on the adverse even profile.  Most adverse events from this are central nervous system related like nausea, memory impairment etc. 

It may not be practical for everyday use.

You know what... the Pharmaceutical Companies are VERY RICH and VERY POWERFUL you know what I hope happens.

I hope Pharmaceutical Companies start investing in the world Rainforest's and Oceans, Wilderness's and Wild Life Habitats... And use there money to purchase large amounts of land and Make it a "Wildlife Habitat and Rescue" And use it for Research to discover break through Pharmaceutical Medicines and the whole lot. Also using their pull and sway with governments of the world to help laws get passed for conservation efforts. it would be a Win, Win. The Pharmaceutical Companies would win. And the World would Win because it will postpone the inevitable demise of our specie (and most likely 90% of all other species we would take with us)
