don't be so upset man... you'll be better off in the long haul. gluten, or grains in general, are not good for you, whether you have celiac disease or not (it's being estimated that a much larger percentage of the population is gluten intolerant than previously though)

you don't have to have a bland diet. you're still allowed all the spices in the world. fruits taste great. try some organ meats. they are cheap, very healthy, and you might find that you actually like them (give them a fair chance, as your pallet will most certainly be unaccustomed to them at first)

Sure, you might have to be strict, but after a while it will become second nature.
As far as expensive, yeah it probably will be more expensive than what you are used to, but do you think you will spend more money on healthy food, or hospital visits?

grains are completely non-essential to a healthy life. there is no nutrient in grains that can't be obtained in even greater quantities in other foods.

You already know the answer but you refuse to brace it? :tongue:

Change your diet up, thats a start. Try eating other starchy foods like baked potatoes or whole wheat pasta instead of a gluten-y mess like donuts and pizza. Eat more fruits and veggies as well, you can easily employ this by learning how to make some green smoothies or steaming some vegetables up. Another thing that would help is... chlorophyll. Raw chlorophyll extracted from plants has lots of healing effects on the system, you could even grow your own wheatgrass since its extremely cheap and easy to add even more nutrition.
