Guys Please help PICS Mushroom grow box cracked

So I Finally received the mushroom grow box from amazing nature..
BUT IT CAME CRACKED in two corners! a few grains and mycellium came out and the shipping box was all wet..
I'm just thinking what to do, should I just tape the crack and hope for the best??
Am I running the risk of contamination? most likely!!
Please guys, I was so excited to get the box and now its cracked..
Your opinions are very appreciated.. Whats the best thing I should do to fix it?? Also, if its a good idea to transfer it to another unbroken container..?
Pretty bummed out, plus it wasn't cheap too.

You gonna fruit that thing in a SGFC?

If so, you need to duct tape the sides, anyway.

Tape and hope, yeah.

If you have a pressure cooker, you could make some agar and clone a bit of the mycelium (easier than it sounds).

Then even if you lose that tub, you may have a usable culture.

Don't you use BRF on the bottom of half pints?

Might be easier for the OP, especially if he

doesn't have a PC.

thanx for your advice

ya i was going to tape it anyways, and just did. I was just concerned about the tape glue facing the inside. the chemicals of the glue wouldn't make it feel very natural. but i tried hard to get the pieces together and then taped it.. Do you think I should take the tape off every other day to check for green mold? and in case the mold is forming I could cut it out.. ?

So I don't really know whats the sgfc. but its the fruiting chamber right. I'm gonna use tub in tub for heating and just put half inch of water on the bottom of the inner tub, I read the perlite can give excessive humidity, No? I actually went to three different stores and wasn't able to find it. but amazing nature directions say to just put water, so I'm just gonna do that or do you think the perlite is much better? Any other suggestions on the fruiting chamber?

btw there's a hole on the lid of the container covered on the inside (pic). What is it for?

The hole's probably for GE.

Don't check it everyday, leave it alone until it colonizes.

Throw it into a SGFC, but before doing that tape the

sides completely, or else you'll get lots of side pinning.

What you are doing is basically the same as a PF cake.
First two videos on that page are about this- first one covers making your next batch, second video describes fruiting this one.
Watch them all, but the first two are the ones you need soonest.

:confused: Ya but those videos are to start from scratch having the spores and everything..
Mine is the pre-prepared grow box that already has the live mycellium and it just needs the right environment to fully colonize and birth..
For air circulation and co2 removal I'm just gonna fan it daily (with the tub in tub heating and water layer on the bottom of the terrarium)
good ideia? Would the perlite help?
