I'd like to go to a hardcore jail for a week

Just to know what life is inside. Have you ever been?

I'd like to be there but not really, more like a ghost

Some people could argue that the same results can be achieved by going to a gay bar..

So yeah. anyone had that experience???

My friend has been in a medium security federal prison for the past 3 1/2 years. I visit him regularly and we talk every week. He says he's only seen a handful of fights, no rapes or anything bad. He's never been assaulted or even threatened or has seen anyone else threatened. But he is on the lowest security block.

About the worst he's seen was a guy that committed suicide at the beginning of a 20 year sentence and another guy that died from a heart attack.

So much for the term "federal pound me in the ass prison".

If I wasn't worried about my record I would be tempted to get myself sent to jail for a week or so, just for the experience. I think I'll survive without it though.

I did a little over a month in softcore jail. It's boring but it's ideal for making drug connections.
