There is no cure for insomnia. For severe insomnia, nothing works. But for people who cant sleep once in a while, there are tons of remedies on the market... But I have had horrible insomnia all my life. The ONLY thing that will knock me out is a high dose of seroquel, which isn't even a sleep-aide! Its an anti-psychotic medication! I once asked my doctor for seroquel to help me sleep, and he said that taking seroquel for sleep is like using a rocket launcher to kill an ant!!! But I guess he doesn't know how resilient this particular ant is!!! What sucks is that the amount of seroquel that I need for sleep is such a high dose, that I feel like a zombie for most of the next day... I could literally sleep the entire day!
