Anyone else miss the old Simpsons?
Even though the production values are higher now, I think the writing has gotten really sloppy.
I watched an episode last week (or thereabouts) with Mr. Burns, and they literally never finished the episode. They just didn't bother to wrap up the plot they started. It's like they don't care anymore, and they're just trying to fill a half hour because they know people will watch anyway.

Then yesterday I watched some season six Simpsons on DVD, and it was awesome.
I dunno, I just don't think it's possible to keep a show going for 25 years and stay good.

yeah.. the simpsons havent been worth watching for 10 years..

up until season 10 it was amazing.. they got a whole new staff of writers and its really gone to shit now.
