100 aborted bird fetuses mixed with a cow's titty milk thats then held at near boiling tempatures for an hour, spiced, and then shipped to a store near you to sit on a shelf for a few weeks, which then gets mixed with alcohol to make you forget about all the babies that were killed to quench your thirst for 5 minutes

Actually most commercial eggnogs don't use raw eggs anymore...
That was back in the day.

I buy eggnog every year thinking "maybe this time I'll like it". It hasn't happened for me yet though. Ima go with tyrannicalrex on this one and stick with coco and peppermint schnapps for a holiday drink.

Make your own eggnog, forget that store bought mess. Homemade nog with Capt Morgans!

And thanks t for the Rumple Mintz, sounds good!
Rumple Minze was rated a 95 (out of 100) by the Beverage Tasting Institute.[1] The top market for this product is the United States. The success of their peppermint schnapps has led Rumple Minze to release two new flavors which include a Berry flavored liqueur and a Lime flavored liqueur, both of which remain 100 proof.

Can this be bought in the US?

This.

If you have a mixer, it takes all of 5 minutes.

I use bourbon and 2 kinds of rum in mine personally.

I've never made egg nog before, but I'd like to try it.  Do you have a recipe?

The fire has many things to teach.
But so does the human experience.. which is like fire, sometimes you just need to stoke the coals and sometimes you just need to add a log or reposition the log matrix. But a well built fire will be much more self-sustaining than a poorly built one, and they all need love to grow. And don't fuck around or your might burn yourself. Must always respect the fire. - Shroomism

Honestly, not on hand. I have to ask my gf's mom each year. Google around, they are fairly simple, or very complex, depending on what you like.

GET GOOD EGGS!!!

I've just started making it...

The 1 pint whole milk + 1 pint heavy whipping cream can be replaced with 1 quart half and half from the recipes I've seen.

I'm looking into using brown sugar in place of white sugar too, but the successful batches I've made have been with white sugar.
(Next time, I was going to use 3 oz. white sugar with the yolks and 1.5 oz. brown sugar with the whites.)

4 eggs, separated
4.5 oz. sugar
1 pint whole milk
1 pint heavy whipping cream
5 oz. bourbon
2.5 oz. spiced rum
2.5 oz. dark Jamaican rum
fresh nutmeg

Beat egg yolks with 3 oz. sugar.
Add alcohol slowly, still beating.
Add milk and cream, slowly beating.
Beat egg whites until stiff, beat in 1.5 oz. sugar.
Fold in egg white mix.
Chill thoroughly.
Top with grated nutmeg.
