i use demoid and TPB. i guess ill stick with just demonoid. to make everyone happy i do need to delete Utorrent and shaun of the dead. is there a better program other than utorrent? i guess i need to look into tor as well?

what i really want to know is how a huge Corp. like MPAA tracked me of all people. im so small scale its not even funny. i have dl'ed maybe 10 gigs of movies and 6 gigs of music.

AOL is a big business. The MPAA is bigger so they push AOL around and have them do some spying on their users. Some even claim that the MPAA leaks DVDrips and puts trackers in them that flag on cooperating service providers.

probably legit, i got 5 or 6 letters threatening to sue if a didnt stop and they eventually cut off my i-net. they only sent my letters involving movies and tv shows but never software or music.

This is why you should never download from Public Torrents. Make sure your downloading from a secure source.

Ive gotn a message from my isp about one southpark i downloaded illegally they said that they will cancel my internet if i continue to download illegal.
I cant fucking afford movies. Im dirt poor.

They won't cancel your internet unless you cancel the $50 a month they require from you.

well using their service for illegal purposes (downloading movies/music/software on torrents) is probably something they put in the contract, so i'm sure they have every right to cut off your internet

They do, but the cocksuckers would rather intimidate you with nasty messages and keep collecting their money.  They ultimately care more about getting paid than babysitting your internet traffic.

If you're using Utorrent, go to preferences, bitorrent, and change outgoing to forced encryption.  I got a warning from TWC saying I had been downloading too.  They're just trying to scare you, they don't actually care.  It looks better on their end to show that they're "trying" to stop their users from downloading illegal content.

recently stopped using Utorrent.  my internet was blocked for downloading the copyrighted expendables movie. hadda delete it all and call the internet provider to get it back.

Also, make sure you read the comments on tpb torrents before you download them. If there's 50 comments screaming "FAKE!! VIRUS!!" then you can be pretty sure it's fake and has a virus..

It's also usually a good way to get an idea of the quality of the movie or whatever it is you're downloading.
