the how to fight ghosts comment made me think of times we tried to talk to our "ghost" with a ouija board.  lmfao. 

play with a ouija board enough and you'll eventually realize all the things it says are things one of the two people using it know/think/whatever, and that you can often guess what it's going to say before it says it - kinda cool that you can be conscious of your subconscious in such a way.


I've got one in my closet. What's funny is I've heard of how they avoid being destroyed, ect... and even after burned they will like reappear in your house later. Well this one is my grandparent's, and they gave it to me years ago to play with. Their house burned down like two or three years ago so it successfully avoided that. It was even in my granddad's closet where his fluorescent light started the fire(at least we think). That closet was definitely the most burnt as well as his bedroom. He had this huge one foot diameter and four foot tall jar FULL of pennies. We never found the jar or the pennies. I think it incinerated them. Another weird thing is when they had dozers tearing down their house to clear the land for their new double wide trailer out of no where comes this large, over one foot square, picture of an angel just blowing across the yard. It was completely untouched. That picture survived the fire, and they really didn't even remember having the picture or where it was kept. It wasn't in a frame. They framed it and it was the first thing to go into their new house. It's sitting on their mantle to this day.

I'm curious... does that cat picture in your signature have a title? Like, "Furry Apocalypse," or "Bitch, You're Fucked Now" or something cool like that?

cool story, destructo! I hadn't heard the stories about Ouiji board indestructibility ; in my own case I *think* the board is still in a closet somewhere but the pointer thingamajig is long gone. 

Now I'll probably go look and find both pieces (board & pointer) sitting placidly together on a shelf.

I'm sure the stories are just myth's. I remember someone telling me they drove like far off out to a random field, chucked the board into it, and it was sitting on their table the following day. Just shit like that. Now I want to see a Ouija board move by itself without anyone touching it. That would be something.

The best thing to do would be to worry about it tomorrow. Its best to just go to sleep while some kinda weird creepy shit is going on in your basement. It'll stay down there till you come looking for it in the morning. No way would it come up in the middle of the night while you're sleeping......
