Ha... weird ass life...

So on monday morning, I got woken up at 11:00 by the phone ringing. I had been staying in K?benhavn, borrowing a friend's flat - because of an Einst?rzende Neubauten on sunday (fucking great show, btw). Anyhow, a friend tells me that I need to get to ?rhus right away - he won't tell me why, but says it is really important. I pay it not much mind, being half asleep, and drift back to dreaming. At about 12, my girlfriend wakes me up and says that i've been receiving a ton of calls (she slept over the ringing too) - I talk to my friend Stian, and he still won't give me any info, he just sounds worried as hell and tells me to get back ASAP. So we take the first train we can to ?rhus, and I head back out to my school.

When I get there, I quickly find out what is going on. Myself and my friend Kristian are being kicked out of the school - for hashish related business. I go for a meeting with the rektor of the school - and tell him that they have no concrete evidence, only rumours and hearsay - and so he can't kick me out, but instead should make a deal with me. And he agrees - and makes a deal with me that if I tell the whole school I'll stop smoking hashish until we are finished (begining of June), then he'll let me stay. Fair enough - education is more valuable than hashish.

My friend Kristian, though, wasn't so lucky - they had some concrete evidence against him, and so we spent the evening sitting smoking cigarettes and waiting to bid him fairwell. Around 12:15 at night, the rektor comes back down - I was assuming to say goodbye to Kristian - but says that he needs to talk to me again.

And, as I find out, our deal has fallen through. Listen to this fucking technicality. Since I had offered people to take a puff on a joint, I was technically "dealing-drugs" (needless to say, for no profit or gain - just out of the niceness of my heart). And based on that technicality, there was no way they could let me stay at the school.

Shit, I thought... I'm a bit fucked here.

But, as it turns out - not at all. The philosophy teacher from my school was very sad and pissed that Kristian and I got thrown out - we being two of his favorite students. So he decides to give us his summer-cabin that he has - approx 2km from the center of ?rhus - for free. Whoa. So now I've decided to just move there and work for the next few months - save up a ton of money, because of the not-paying-rent - and still be in ?rhus to take this danish language exam i need to take for university in June.

Funny how things like this work out sometimes - but i'm actually happy i got thrown out of school, now that I look at it.

K?benhavn = Copenhagen

?rhus = Aarhus

Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark, right near the Danish-Swedish border on the island of Sj?lland. Aarhus is Denmark's second-biggest city, in north-east Jylland - the danish peninsula that touches Germany.

i'm about 90% sure that i am...

depends, i may end up moving to Vancouver, BC in august for university - but it's looking like i'll just move to K?benhavn instead.

but as long as i'm in the EU, i'm for sure coming.
