cant have a pass game without a running game. if you can stop an up the middle run with 4 lineman then its easy to keep your guys midfield and do some great zone.

the saints never had a good running game, but almost all of it was based on screen passes to reggie. betts is useless after what i saw this weekend. it almost looked like the guys leans back while he runs so skimming a shoulder pad knocks him over.

i think they should either make a new playbook, or use the same one and use roby as a reggie bush. i think he can do it. he could get 3-5 yard screen pass to OB runs. we can put moore on KO returns.

You talking about the Saints Browns game?  Man, it was hard to watch.

I really got egg on my fase for that one, first talking about how good the Saints look, then saying Brees is as consistant as Manning in that other thread... real :facepalm: on me there.

What?  No they didn't.  McCoy got like 70 total yards.

The Saints made the Browns defense and special teams look good, though.

i think they finally looked at the logo on their helmets, and realized how they're supposed to behave.




j/k, absense of Bush and Thomas is huge.  You take away the top two RBs from any team and they're going to suffer greatly.
