Had a weird dream about it. Aside from going to a Timberwolves game, what's there to do?

So many things!

In the Twin Cities you can go uptown, chill by the lakes, go swimming, go to a bunch of sweet record stores. Go out to eat at a bunch of cool restaurants. Go to see live music at one of the dozens of venues in the cities.

Up north you have the north shore, boundary waters, great camping.

Minnesota is awesome!

The Onion was started in Wisconsin and there has always been a big Minnesota-Wisconsin rivalry. They poke fun at Minnesotans a lot.

Where is the show?
Depends on what area of the cities you're in. Unless you don't mind going across town for stuff to do.

What time of day will you get into town?

Minnesota's basically got it all. If it weren't for the harsh winters it would be a paradise. They got lakes connected by tunnels because there's so many of em, that shit blew me away when I went up there.

I'm not from the cities nor do I live there, but that's where all the action is - city wise. It's a pretty liberal place with the arts going pretty strong. The Minnesota Orchestra is top notch. People you meet in uptown are pretty much all legit.

The boundary waters is really amazing, but I'm sure some places in the mountains are better.

It's a decent place overall and under appreciated. The weather is basically amazing constantly, but people still bitch about it constantly. Even on absolutely perfect days people don't say much, they just don't have anything to complain about. That's when you can fish out the cool people because they'll all be spoutin off about how incredible is outside.

I can't really compare to other states, but I have seen so many sunsets that just leave you speechless and gawking at the sky.

If you are looking for beautiful intelligent women you are coming to the right place.
If you like headshops Hideaway and Sherlocks are both in Dinkytown (I go to the U). Get a malt at Annie's Malt Shop in Dinky Town.

That's a Saturday, if you don't mind hipsters, you can check out Bryant Lake Bowl in Uptown, it's a cool place, but it will be packed on a Saturday. After the show I would recommend just heading Uptown. You will find lots of stuff to do there. Also, Lake Calhoun is right there, and that's an awesome place.

I'll try to think of more.
