I don't know, that seemed pretty weak to me. I mean what is a comedian even doing there in the first place? It seems like whoever "invited" him was really only trying to sideline legitimate discourse on the topic.

By bringing Steven Colbert in?  That guy costs you and me less money than every single other one of those fuckers, and he's much more likely to bring something productive to the table.

He played a character.  It was a complete farce and a waste of my money.  He has a TV show to make his voice heard every fucking night.  I also think he's an asshole who has no serious opinions.  He is a professional clown.  That's it.
