Come on #4, So you just hate linguistics then?  The study itself is one foot out of the empirical realm.  Who cares?  Take it for what its worth.  Name me one linguist that has 100% empirical chops.


Chomsky is a fuck and I don't care about him but to cherry pick his name to be all enraged about makes it pretty telling why your mad at him.  Who gets that pissed about linguistic theories?  Nobody.  But who does pay attention to Chomsky?  People mad at his politics.

He has some good points on the fact that "Capitalism" is not really free market. It exists because the "Capitalist" Nations can still take the vast resources of the undeveloped nations, usually with little benefit to the resource owning nation. :frown:
