I do cocaine here every night, right? Well, there's this kid who comes to hang out with me once in a while and always ends up doing cocaine with us. The thing is, he goes to school and only comes over on weekends when he's free.

Fucking kid, he doesn't realize that I don't do it for fun anymore. Its not just a weekend type deal with me, this is my life.

The fact that I see him come and go makes me look at myself and wonder why I can't just up and quit doing drugs like he does during the week.

Addiction can be overcome by someone with a strong mind, and if you realize you can kick cocaine, the life high you get will be better than any drug.

Maybe you can function perfectly fine with doing coke every day, I know lots of people who get high day in and day out and still manage to work and go to school. Personally I can only do drugs on the weekend, even weed makes me useless if I smoke every day, so I made my priorities and stuck by them.

If coke is a problem for you then my best advice is to cut all ties with it until you get your life and priorities under control. I'm talking about not hanging out with people who do coke, toss your dealer's number and don't look back. Will it be hard? Hell yes, especially with coke withdrawal, it's not bad compared to say heroin, but you'll feel shitty and irritable and just want a line or 2 to make you feel normal again, but don't give in and it will get better each day. You can do it and it will make you a stronger person. :smile:
