So i inherited an aquatic frog tonight and need some advice
    #13088712 -

It was my mother in laws frog and she's had for like 4 years and didnt want to let him  go so she gave him to me. He's supposed to be an African Dwarf  Frog or something like that.

They are only supposed to get 2 1/2 inches long but he's like 6 inches. I'm wondering if he's just an obese little froggy or if he's just a steriod frog.... I named him Mo  because that was the first thing to come to my head and he seems to respond to it. Just wondering if ya'll have any suggestions or advice.

No way your thinking of the Sonoran Desert Toad or the Colorado River Toad. These guys wont get you high and it would taste pretty bad.

African clawed frogs are a harmful invasive species in some ecosystems. Whatever you do, don't release it into the wild.

Yeah, that's pretty awesome that there's a psychedelic toad. I don't know about the whole milking the glands experience though... from what I've heard it's not all that much of a treat.

Looks like an awesome frog. What does he eat?

Have you tried licking him just in case?

No i havent licked him yet. I'm afraid he would eat my lips. He chargs at me when i pass his tank. Crazy frog but cute and he has a beautiful soft song he sings at night. Reminds me of camping almost lol. I have been feeding him bloodworms and shrimp. It tripped me out when i watched him e shove food into his mouth and gobble it up. I fell out laughing.
