The Life Aquatic

I'm gonna go rent it. And get dinner. And smoke pot.

Get SUPER STONED for the Life Aquatic.  It's one of the few movies I'd willingly watch again.

I loved it!

I think they're supposed to be cheezy...like a joke.

What I loved most about it was the dialogue.

My favorite scenes were the shootouts. They were quite comical.

I love the guitar player on the boat - forget the guys name but he does alot of cover songs in Spanish or something - He was really good.
The graphics are cheesey but it's in that hilarious joke sort of way - I really enjoyed them myself , fit the tone of the movie

Movie really made me care about the characters wich is rare in movies these days, In my own oppinion atleast.
A movie that came out within the last 2 years that I actually enjoyed

[edit] The guy did some mean "Rebel Rebel and "Life on mars" covers..

It's a character movie. Bill Murray and..the female co-star, had some good chemistry in the hot air balloon.

Do you really think it's cool to be hitting the sauce with a bun in the oven?

then he lights a joint in the flame above his head. It was a good moment.

I don't think most people look at the [Re: ________] part of a reply anyway. It's easy to just look at the words and put it together via context.

Nah, I usually take movie-watching way too seriously to talk online while I'm at it.

I tend to study movies even more than watch them a lot of the time...being stoned helps even out the two into a healthy balance.

Yeah, the shootouts are hilarious.

And my favorite line...
"Is that my...? Wha...? How did you get my espresso machine!?"
"Well..uhh, we fucking stole it, man!"

I just called a pot delivery guy that I met through my neighbor. His name is HERO and he's this crazy brainfried japanese guy who travels around in long flowing robes selling all sorts of random shit. He's got the dank nugget.

Once he gets here, I'm ordering some Thai, and going underwater with Steve Zissou.
