M. Night Shyamalan
    #13040820 -

Why does everyone seem to hate on him, and yet continue to go see all of his movies?

That's the one movie of his I absolutely hated.  Probably cuz I went with my ex-gf and her little sister to the movies and called the ending in the first 5 minutes.  What a waste of $30.

he is the master of the trailer. every movie looks good and only two or three out of the 7 have been good. the others were absolute shit.

Which ones? I like everything I've seen so far, though I haven't seen lady in the water and I've heard it's really bad.

The Last Airbender was easily the worst movie I have ever seen in theatres.

The acting. The fight scenes. The story. The cast.

What was good about it?

The special effects.

There are very few movies I don't enjoy, I usually go to the theatre once a week, I'm not really one to talk shit about movies, but that movie was just plain awful. I even liked Lady in the Water, The Village and Signs.

that movie sounded fucking terrible, it had a good preview but everyone that saw it seemed to hate it. I haven't seen a Scamalon movie in theatres since the Village.  that guy's been on a fucking downhill road since then.  i think maybe he tries to hard or has too big an ego that he cant even make something that's actually good anymore.  it's funny that his movies still make money.  until he makes something that gets good reviews i dont think ill ever waste a dollar to see anything new he makes.

i also think he has a problem of trying to put in some stupid fucking meaning into his movies that just make them worse, like 'Signs' for example.... i thought that was a cool movie up until the end when they bring in that religious meaning shit

I tend to enjoy a lot of movies others dont simple because I dont go in
with preconceived notions of how the movie is supposed to play out or that
it's supposed to be a block buster, I take it as it's meant to be, a time killer
