Dry Mushy :: VERY skinny

I dried my mushies with 24 hrs. of fan blowing, and 2 days in desiccant chamber.

After the air dry, the mushies are VERY noticeably smaller/skinnier.

The mushies are VERY skinny. And the caps are all shriveled up.


Are these mushies [collectively] still effective? It sure doesn't look like they'd do anything :X

You do realize that when you dry something, the water comes out, and it gets smaller? right?  :grin:

it's just they got a lot skinnier than I thought they would have.

They are VEry skinny.

Maybe there's pictures of dried mushies on shroomery?

Trust me, I thought the same "They're so tiny, they couldn't do much". I was REALLY wrong, and had a pretty damn strong trip. It's just what happens when you dry mushrooms, they lose their size, but not all of their potency. :smile:

Dried shrooms are 90% less in weight then when fresh. So a mound of 100 grams of fresh shrooms will be roughly 10 grams dried. Assuming you took care in your drying process, there should be no or very little loss in potency.

if this is any help this is about 5.5 gms dryed which would be about 55 gms wet. i foolishly did all of this alone and if i hadnt had a lot of previous experiance with shroomin i would have been in a world of hurt....I really thought i was making some type of contact with my Grandfather who had passed away several years ago and was going with him an leaving this world behind. I wasnt scared at all of leaving with him an was quite sad when i came down realizing that i wasnt abel to join him. It was a truley fantastic voyage. I plan on doing that with my life long friend in a couple of months who recently lost his mother and hopefully we can experiance something simular together.
