that would be grilled salmon, BBQ is an entirely different critter, you
canoodians best shape up or get off my continent with you're weird slang

If I am cooking it on my BBQ is it not BBQ then? Not BBQ sauces or rubs are involved but I still think you could call it BBQ.

You can see how I was a tad confused. I assumed it was some sort of unholy abomination unto the lord.

BBQ is a method of cooking, not a device, that thing you call a BBQ is
in fact a grill, while most can be used for both grilling and BBQing to
Actually Barbecue you need to use low heat and cook for extended
periods, grilling involves high heat and short cooking times

The tray looks like supermarket sushi trays.

Once upon a time you could count on supermarket sushi to be barely palatable. There are a few near me though that have pretty good sushi, made on site.

You cannot legislate the poor into prosperity by legislating the wealthy out of prosperity. What one person receives without working for another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for that my dear friend is the beginning of the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it. ~ Adrian Rogers

I used to work at Ukrops in my teen years. We had a sushi chef on site that would make the most delicious rolls. I'd always have him fix me up something nice for my lunch break.
