just boiled some blue crabs

damn those were awesome believe it or not NO oil i caught 15 the first night and 25 the second and 35 last night boiled them baby's up with some crawfish boil and corn and taters and some beer to drink nothing like it

in a bay on the gulf coast using chicken were I am at the oil never reached the inland areas you can catch crab the rivers with crab nets or baskets and  they opened it up for fishing and shrimping

I grew up on the Chesapeake, love me some blue crabs, and NOTHING compares to fresh caught blue crabs. how big was your catch?

I used to catch crabs from the ocean.  There was this one place where you could dive under and see them crawling or dig around in the sand with your feet.  the water was COLD but it was  awesome just grabbing a big crab or 2 to eat. 

I think they were dungeness crab, they looked kind of like this

yeah that's what we have too, mud crabs are a lot meaner though :yesnod:

my sister told me about a place she went where this crab lives.



She said they lure them all at night with some coconuts on a pole and eat em up!

Apparently they taste really good because they feed on coconuts.

Yeah coconut crabs are scary as shit. They have ungodly strong claws.

Psilobuds: you ever had Tasmanian giant crab? They get HUGE

I don't even know how you'd cook something that big. Boil water in a 55 gallon drum or something?

i think that one was under 2kg, get up to 3.5kg, i think they live for 3 years

they taste really nice
