Freeze Your Pancakes

Most recipes for pancakes leave you with a lot of batter. Instead of bitching about it, better go ahead and double the recipe! Take all those yummy panqueques (sounds funny in Spanish, no?) you've prepared, let them cool down completely, and put them in the freezer. Be sure to separate each one with wax paper. PROTIP: When you are frying these puppies, grease the pan with a lot of butter before you pour the dough and after you flip it. It will caramelize and brown nicely--in addition to good taste. 

This sounds incredibly simple, but I never thought of it until recently. Now I warm them up in the microwave to go with my breakfast.

I do this everytime i make pancakes, such an awesome idea! it works with waffles to!

From an article I just read:

Mineral and fiber content are similar in fresh, canned and frozen fruits and vegetables.

Frozen products lose fewer nutrients initially because of the short
heating time in blanching, but they lose more nutrients during storage due to oxidation.

Exclusive recommendations of fresh produce ignore the
nutrient benefits of canned and frozen products and limits consumer choice.

I cant freeze my pancakes, I make most foods from scratch and everyone here
eats it all, if there's a few left over they're usually gone before lunch

My moms been doing this ever since I was a kid. When I was young I'd take them out frozen and eat them just like that lol. I also ate dog food for a couple weeks... So not gonna vouch for any kind of "tastiness"
