are turning burnt red!!!

Is this normal, I imagine the sunlight is causing this.

Usually spines don't burn.

Is it the ones that are just emerging from the apical meristem?

Usually the new spines are a different color than older spines.

I wouldn't worry.

What is the skin/stem color like?

As long as it's a nice dark green, I wouldn't worry.

For the most part dark green(a miniscule amount of sunburn, but one like I said kind of melted and he's doing fine), the bridgesii are a bit brighter...I took them from shade and then immediately introduced them to full sunlight when they grew tiny root hairs.

I'm amazed at how many of my cuttings got 2 pups!
