Antivirus software?

I need everyones opinion real quick please, I am about to purchase an antivirus software program and would like to know what everyone thinks is the best on the market.  I have always used Norton but it just doesn't seem to be the best.  Any ideas?

Best kind of anti virus is the shit I had. I got rid of my internet. It never had any problems since.

Kaspersky or Nod32 hands down.

Norton, Mcafee, AVG, all suck.  Very easy to just change a couple strings to make the file undetectable to any AV anyway, so just be smart and don't download stuff that might be infected.

don't forget there are programs to inject executables (trojans for example) into any file, even .jpg pictures.  It'll execute in the background and you won't know the difference if it's an undetectable.
