Spider attack! (another spider thread)

So I've already found at least 8 brown recluses in my house this year and many many more outside of my house, it's obviously a bad year for them. It's very surprising to me because my house is very clean and tidy, I would more expect to find these spiders in a basement where it's all cluttered and shit. But this morning I had one crawling on my arm as I woke up, worst way to start the day. I caught the fucker and he is in this little rubbermaid thing, I also have another one in a bottle that I caught last week, bout to put them together and see what they do. I'm 100% sure they are brown recluse.

I'm both fascinated and fearful of these things. I think I may be one of those people who have a venom fetish, I've always kinda wanted a carpet viper and a western diamondback rattlesnake as pets and for some reason I'm just really respectful of any creature that contains enough venom to pack a good punch.

I don't have a camera good enough to take a decent pic of it, it would just be a brown blurry thing.

Obviously its a good year for them and a bad year for you. Your best bet would be introducing a bolder more aggressive species of spider not poisonous to humans.  You can squirt Raid on them but you'll only get more recluses that way.

In holland we have one species of spider that actually delivers a painful bite but they are not much of a problem because of these guys:



Not only are they hideous and huge, every house has em and they fuck everything up that comes in their territory. Its a shock to see one of these but they dont harm people. On the pic its a youngster but an an older one who ius near molting.. eeyukk!
