yeah i watched one with my boyfriend a couple weeks ago. might've been on bio or ID or history channel. it was based off a book about escobar too

There's a really good book by Gabriel García Márquez called News of a Kidnapping.

It's not a bio of Escobar but it goes into great detail describing exactly how he was able to achieve so much power and control over the country of Colombia.

Essentially it is the story of Pablo Escobar as told through the families of his victims and government officials, written by one of the best if not THE best spanish speaking authors.

This nigga wrote 100 years of solitude.

the accountants story by roberto escobar (pablo's brother) was really good. Gives a lot of detail about what went down and how it went down. doesn't sugar coat it. there were some stories about pablo doing great things and some about his darker side as well.
