I've only been to three before, but it has been the same way for me.
None of them ever got ridiculously loud though and there was never more than 30 people in the rooms.

Most of the time they dont care...When I work in a hotel.We had Shoop Dogg stay and he smoke out the whole top floor, had seeds all over place..He order so much food to his room...:cool:

15-30 people, the problem is more people tend to show up

it was always the hotel/motel management calling the cops, either because someone complains about the noise or hotel staff sees a bunch of young drunk people milling around

The places weren't upscale, nor was the area, but it never seemed to make much a difference.

Its definitely the noise. If you got 20-30 people all talking relatively loud it probably sounds REALLY loud to the people next door.

see i never try to get anymore than 10 at a hotel party. and everyone usualy leaves.
once i was hiding out in a hotel with a dealer for a week. tripppin, rolling and smoking weed everyday.
it sketched me the fuck out. Think about it. Other than the window your trapped. think i saw it on cops once actually. that'd be such a scarey situation.
never been busted. but we try to keep it sorta mellow, or leave when we wanted to be loud.
but you could smell the weed all throught the hotel, which is bad.
the worst part was we never knew how long we were gunna stay there so each day we ended up re-renting the room.
so keep it kinda quiet. when i did the 10 person party we had a double hotel room, so it was a lil roomyier

the difference in a jail and a hotel is that a hotel charges per night,

The last hotel I stayed in with my friend was not necessarily dumpy, it was actually pretty nice and huge.  We were on like the 10th floor in a corner room and we had windows that could open to the streets.  At night I think we blazed anywhere from 8-10 bowls and probably 5 joints.  The entire room was stinky, I put towels at the bottom of the door and nothing ever happened to us.

I usually smoke in hotels when I'm in the jacuzzi... So much win...

Smoke Detectors

This (Ionization) type of detector is cheaper than the optical detector; however, it is sometimes rejected because it is more prone to false (nuisance) alarms than photoelectric smoke detectors
